Holy Jeopardy Reference Batman!
What every happened to the good ole categories in Jeopardy. Like “potpourri” and “rhyme time” and “geography”? Now they have categories like “prez dispensers” and “historic voicemail”
Anyway………..
As you see I am working on a new layout, but I can’t get the damn CSS to work
booo booo booo.
Today I slept from 7am to 3pm. I have spent so many days pulling all nighters for school, that my sleep schedule is all messed up. My most productive hours are 11pm to 5am. Even when I get a good solid normal 8 hrs of sleep I am still not productive during the day. So…. I guess I will just need to work something out.
Off to get set up for some projects tonight. Later!

Ah.. the joy that is the 7:30 senseless survey on Hank FM. March 12, 2009 = awesome.
Anyway, got two orders in today. Yay for money! They actually aren’t large orders, one is vinyl USMC letters cut in yellow, and the other is 200 church cutouts for programs, but hey business is business.
Anyway, I love my life. (just noticed I say ‘anyway’ a lot). I am a quirky person that’s for sure and i have found the one person in this world as quirky as I am, and I love that I can totally be myself around him. I don’t have to hold back at all. Plus I am lucky enough that this guy actually wants to marry me and spend the rest of our lives together. Despite the fact that life can get difficult and things aren’t always working out the way you plan, I wouldn’t trade my life for anything.
Today Stephen and I slept from 4pm till about midnight. Just being lazy. Then we packed dinner in a lunch box, got in the car, and drove around for about 3 hours. Just randomly around Indiana in the middle of the night. Why you might ask? Cuz we can. So here it is 4 am, and I am climbing into bed. Ahh bed. Where I will probably surf the internet for a few hours, work on my website, go to sleep about 10am, and then who knows.
What adventures life holds for tomorrow I don’t know, but I can’t wait to find out.

Ahhh… I forgot how much I love cooking
Perhaps its because I haven’t had a kitchen to cook in. Well one I could make all mine anyway. The lack of enjoyable cooking space is a direct factor in the amount of eating out Stephen and I do. I made chicken and rice with asparagus for lunch today. Nothing fancy at all, but it still brightened my day a bit.
I also miss the days when I had time to hang out on the cooking board on the knot.
that really got my desire to cook and try new things jump started.
Anyway… me thinks I am going to start my cooking blog again. It won’t be all fancy smancy food like it was before, but it will do. Does anyone know if there is a way to import a Vox blog into a WordPress blog? I love wordpress so much more, but I don’t want to loose what I already have in my vox blog. Perhaps I should just have one blog and make use of the Tag feature? Any suggestions out there?

…..that pretty much sums it up.
I spend Monday thru Friday slaving over my school work, then I drive home, then I spend all weekend feeling like I just need to get out of the house and do something. This usually means hanging out with John and Cryssy (luv ya guys!) until 2am on Saturday which means I go to church and then spend all Sunday in bed, and then the week starts over again.
I just can’t do it anymore. Its killing my Sanity, my Budget, and my Relationship. Well I have started taking steps to remedy this, otherwise I am going to die from a stroke at 24
1. I lightened my course load at school. It does me no good to take a ton of classes when I am working at 50%. I need to take less classes at 100%.
2. I have got to start cooking again. Stephen and I try to eat healthy but eating out 4-5 meals a week really starts to add up. We just can’t keep going like this.
3. I think I am going to talk Stephen into taking Monday, Tuesday, and Wed off of work. We just need some time to reconnect. I hardly see him and all our alone time lately has been speny on these FOCCUS questions. We are only on number 32 of 178 and I would like to have them finished by the time we meet next with Fr. While those have been great and amazing conversations, its more a chore than anything, and we haven’t just relaxed and enjoyed each others company in about 3 weeks. So I think we are going to do that this weekend. Now I’m not one to be cooped up in a house all day, so I have a few fun things planned
– biking on the monon
– Painting at his new apt.
– Going downtown and sightseeing like we used too (carriage ride, pedal boating, walk on the canal, dinner at St. Elmo’s perhaps (I know, #2, I know)
– Canoeing if the weather is nice enough.
– Do some yoga together at home (Stephen won’t go to the class
)
– Definitely going to Eagle Creek, or Dons guns and doing some shooting this weekend.
– Make wedding invitations!! woo!
– ect.
Anyway, off to bed, I have classes in the morning

Turned right at a giant sign that says “no right turn”. Cop pulls me over and asks why I ignored the sign.
“oh I was following my GPS” I said, gesturing to my iPhone “I must have missed it”.
NO ticket, NO lecture, NO asking for ID…. Instead he says “woah… your phone has live GPS?”
So I spend 5 minutes showing him the features of my GPS and then he tells me he “needs to get one of those” and to “have a nice day”.
Lol… idiot… I love my iPhone!

At the heart of it all, I am thankful for the opportunity I have here. But I dove in head first, and didn’t give myself time to get settled or adjust to anything.
I have withdrawn from my studio, and switched my history to an online course. I have to be in Berrien Springs 2 days a week now. Tuesday and Wednesday.
Ultimately I was exhausted and frustrated. My style isn’t meshing here. I am so hooked on the Theoretical of architecture, and not well versed in the practicality of it all. I am going to take some IUPUI construction classes this summer, maybe work on a job or two, and try to stay away from the “how architecture makes you feel” books.
I just needed to regain my sanity.
This of course means I have yet another year of school tacked on to my education… grrrrrr… oh well.
This is me making the most of the cards I have been dealt. Stephen, My family, My friends…. thank you for making this decision easy on me and being supportive.
